BSc (Hons) Interactive Entertainment (Incorporating Games Development)
The BSc in Interactive Entertainment deals with the new creative opportunities that are arising as a result of interactive digital technologies and the rapid convergence of the games industry, the Internet, print, television and film. The aim is to produce graduates who have a thorough knowledge of the design, authoring and delivery of interactive entertainment. The course develops skills and understanding in software engineering, computer systems, programming, digital media and interaction design. Students have the opportunity to develop games and applications using a range of technologies such as the XNA Game Studio, Android SDK and the iPhone SDK in our specialist computer labs populated with Macs, PCs, and XBox 360s.
